Community pavilion designed for the exploration of the piano through practice, recital and exhibition.
In honor of the piano and its intricate 88 keys, this urban infill program spans 4,500 square feet and revolves around a primary showroom. The showroom features reconditioned pianos available for sale or rent, accompanied by three auxiliary practice rooms for community use, special order storage spaces, a sales desk, and associated amenities. Positioned between two existing buildings, the project faced challenges in terms of natural light and ventilation strategies, necessitating meticulous consideration of the building's design through detailed section planning.
